For tournaments or leagues with quick turnarounds, you will need to complete your match at the scheduled time. If your league or tournament has flex scheduling, you will be able to reschedule your match if you need to.

Your event will have a specific forfeit policy which you should review in the Rules section. Generally, there is at least a 10 minute grace period so please wait prior to contacting support.
GYO is not an integrated system so you will not be playing your games directly from our site. Instead, use our site to establish communications with your opponent and then use the in-game invitation/game lobby features to get connected to start your game.
After you complete your match, the Winner of the match should return to the GYO Game Lobby in order to report your score. Do not forget to do this, as this is how we update the standings!

You can play as many hours as you want during the combine dates. As for how many hours should you play, it depends on you. Don’t overexert yourself, be sure to take breaks, hydrate, and eat. Just know that the more data we have, the better we can analyze you.
You are going to have good and bad days, we all do, but try to have at least 6 games you feel are good.
All Group Stage Play will use the retail version of FIFA 20 “Online Friendlies” game mode. Players will have to add each other as friends via their platform prior to playing. The settings of the game will be as follows:

Squad Type: 85 overall

Additional guidelines that apply to all Matches:
Players should not harass, message or in any way attempt to distract or direct others to distract their opponents.
Players should not manipulate their internet connection to negatively affect their or their opponents connection or gameplay.
In game players should each have a light-colored jersey and a dark colored jersey and should choose the opposite of one another to avoid confusion. If Players can’t agree, the home player should choose a dark-colored jersey and the away player a light-colored jersey.
In the event of a disconnect, the game should be resumed with an implied score and the remaining time in the match played out.
Players will need to be available during scheduled play times to play their matches. The information will be made available on the League Administration website and via email to eligible Players.
Players will join up to play some friendly 1v1 FIFA 21 to get used to the new game for this year's competitive season! This event is created so players can connect and have some fun! This event will take play on 1/26 (January 26th) at 7:00 PM EST and finish at 9:00 PM EST.
Players may play this event on PC, PS4, or Xbox. Players do not need to play for the entire duration of the event.
Players must be able to communicate their PSN, Gamertag or Origin ID in the match lobby chat, so players can send friend requests to each other.
