Another week, another opportunity to get some games played with our awesome team of Gamer Guides. And a special event by one of our members, CTAG07 is showing us how to code our own Rocket League Bots!

Rock the League

Join us as we come together to team up and go into public matches to take on others! The game modes that will be played will be left up to the individual teams. For example, if a team wants to play 1v1s against each other then that is completely okay. This event is mainly to have fun, play Rocket League, and to help players get to meet other players within GYO.

Minecraft Dungeons Night!

Join us as we come together and explore the world of minecraft dungeons! Fight, unite, and survive the monsters that will come our way. We'll work together and make our way through the game. Whether we're grinding for gear, or just killing bosses, we're looking to just have some fun together! Come join us!

Among Us Night!

Let's find out who is acting sus when we dive into private rounds of Among Us on various maps.

Rocket League - Bot Coding

 Join CTA in a session of coding bots for rocket league.

Requirements: Any device with browser access, but a PC or Laptop is preferred, if you can run RLBot, then you can test your bot while you make it.

If you can't, CTA can help you get it in the game.

Our staff will be present throughout the event to monitor all interactions.

Grab some fertilizer, plant your seeds, and watch your crops grow! Players will be building their own Minecraft garden! Feel free to get creative with designs because we'll be reviewing them towards the end of the event!

Brawlhalla Night! 

Join us as we play against each other in Brawlhalla! We will be creating a private room and play against or with each other and if players want to, we'll take on other people online! Whether you're an experienced veteran or a complete newbie, we'd love to have you!

Brawlhalla is a free-to-play 2D cartoon fighting game. You can download for FREE on Microsoft Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS, with full cross-play across all platforms.

Among Us Night!

Welcome to the Smash Ultimate event! Here, we'll be playing games of free for all Smash, team vs team, and other things! Overall, this will be a relaxed event, so whether you're a veteran player or a newbie, you're more than welcome to come hang out, meet friends, and have a good time!

Jackbox Party Games

All players will Join jackbox party using link sent in chat. We will play various games for two hours! You can see the game by watching the live stream on twitch! Join the event on GYO for more information!

Minecraft: Survival Games

We're introducing "survival games" for Minecraft. In this event, we will have a map made specifically for this activity. Players will explore the map, gather resources, and attempt to be the last one to stay alive. Can you be the one to come out on top?

FIFA Fun Night

Welcome to FIFA Fun Night! Tonight, we're playing "the beautiful game" with a few twists. Players can play against each other in custom game modes, where settings are changed to prioritize fun over competition or in single player challenges for bragging rights.  Play your way!

Random Rumble: Close your eyes, scroll, see what FIFA gives you. GLHF (Good luck, have fun)

Position Mix-Up: Pick any team you would like and flip it upside down! Switch GK's with Strikers, Defenders with Midfielders.

One Star Teams: Find the best of the not-so-great. Win without someone blaming your Ronaldo. Find some hidden gems for your Ultimate Team.

Top Bin Challenge: Play as Premier League teams. First to score from outside of the box wins.

Remember: Tonight isn't about being the best FIFA player, it's about having fun and getting better as you do! Stay tuned for more modes and challenges in future FIFA Fun Night

Minecraft Sculpture Contest

Players will have 1.5 hours to build the most impressive sculpture possible! Players are encouraged to work together if they'd like to! All participants will join our private realms server at the start of the event!

Jackbox Social 

Come join the fun and play some amazing JackBox mini-games together! You only need your phone or tablet to play and it's completely free! If you've never played any jackbox games before, then you don't want to miss out!

We are proud to announce a new way to play with GYO. Starting this Spring Break, we are offering new After School Adventure Camps - educational, high-intensity activities for our players seeking to learn and improve their game. Select from Rocket League or Minecraft, and the fee for the event includes your spring club membership fee. And for Rocket League, we have college coaches coming in to give presentations on what it takes to earn scholarships in esports!

Space Base Building in Minecraft

Players will join a private server hosted by GYO and work to build things in Space! Players will face different challenges, such as how to adapt to quickly changing enviornments, how to communicate with one another, and competing to build a unique design that will impress our Gamer Guide!

Terraria Night

Come on in for a gaming session of Terraria! We will explore, build, and fight our way through the fascinating world! We'll take down bosses, mine, and build up our fortresses! All of this to have a fun game night to meet up with different people and make friends! If you don't own terraria it is free if you have Xbox Games pass. Otherwise, it does cost $9.99 on your platform of choice. You can play this game on any console, PC, tablet/iPad, or iPhone, Android.

Wipeout Course

We try out our parkour skills on a custom built Wipeout Course in Minecraft!

We'll be building the course as well! So come with some creative ideas.

We fight to beat the Ender Dragon! Join us as we set to build our bases, mine, explore, and ultimately take down the Ender Dragon. We'll work together and communicate how we're going to do it and have a great time in the process!

Madden Friendlies

NBA2k Friendlies

We will have friendly matches open for Madden/NBA2k players.

Skribbl.io (drawing/guessing game):

Join Martin and let's find out how good you are at guessing and drawing as we play skribbl.io!

This game can be played from your computer, tablet, or any mobile device.

Rocket League 1v1 Tournament:

This will be a Rocket League 1v1 tournament! Standard rules of play! Best two out of three until the finals which will be best three out of five! Come test your skills! The finals will have the opportunity to be streamed on Twitch and commentated over! We will have prizes for the winners of the event! 

2/27 | 12pm EST, 11am CST, 10am MST, 9am PST

Minecraft Achieved!

Join Martin and the rest of the players on the quest to get all 111 achievements in Minecraft! This will be a weekly event, so if you miss one day, you can hop back in the following week!

FIFA 21 Tournament Preseason: Preseason matches will continue this week. Remember, this is set for a specific ruleset to get you prepared for upcoming leagues/tournaments. We'll try and get every player at least 2 matches and maybe a 3rd if there is time.

2/17 | 7pm EST, 6pm CST, 5pm MST, 4pm PST - 9:00PM EST

Minecraft: On a Rail: Join other players and our gamer guide (Martin) to get the achievement "On a rail" in survival mode, can we do it in just 2 hours?

2/18 | 7pm EST, 6pm CST, 5pm MST, 4pm PST - 9:00PM EST

Rock the League: Join our gamer guide, Chris, on Rocket League to play 3v3's and/or 2v2's in the casual playlists. The ultimate goals of this event are to build connections with others, work together to take down enemy teams online, and have lots of fun!

Minecraft: Community Days

The GYO realms are open! Join us to hang out and play Minecraft on our own realm servers!
