Group Rules Overview

As a member, you are responsible for knowing all official rules of the group. By participating in the group, you are agreeing that you are aware of all rules associated and agree to abide by them at all times.

All person's in this server, regardless, if an "official member" or "stopping by" are expected to follow these server guidelines. No Exceptions

1. Everything in the Eon Gaming Code of Conduct is expected to be upheld in this server. (https://www.eongamingeg.com/)

2. Any and all issues involving members are to either be brought to the Staff member above you according to Chain of Command or resolved in a personal DM with the other person.

3. Please do not Spam (includes memes/reactions) any channels except for the spam-spam 

4. DO NOT Spam Tag/Mass Mention.

5. Do not advertise ANY other discord servers or brands/organizations not affiliated with Eon Gaming

6. All Discord names/nicknames MUST be set to your current and EXACT EG name & rank at all times.

7. If you feel someone is suspicious of anything, Please report any suspicious activity to a Staff Member

8. ANY kind of disrespect towards another member is not tolerated, including but not limited to, sexual harassment, racial, or just blatant disrespect.

9. Do not post any photos in any other channel than the pics-and-besties channel

10. Do not force religion or politics onto anyone

Rules for Staff

These are guidelines and rules for the group that all coaches must acknowledge and follow. Please review all rules carefully.

This code is to be followed strictly and to the best of your ability. Failure to do so can get you Demoted so please read carefully. 

1. Activity

Staff members must have at least one staff member active at all times. Going to be unavailable? Please let the staff know in the #staff-chat before you need to go. We understand people have real lives but try to make an effort to alert staff so there can be someone on duty at all times. Remember you represent the community and are here to help anyone who has questions or concerns. Mod team, same goes to you however please do let staff know when you are unavailable by posting in your #mod-team-general chat

2. New Members

Everyone in staff must welcome in new member to the discord! Do not ping when people join them as the bot also does this so just give a friendly greeting and even explain the ranking system that they need to be active to rank up in the new ranks we have! Also when a new member joins, they do not get warns unless it is serious for 48Hrs

3. Respect

Remember that you are working as a team so please treat all staff members with respect. If you have issues with another person on the team please contact the rank above you to discuss this issue privately. If a higher up asks you to do something then you should be doing it. This is important to pay attention and respect your senior staff as you would want to be treated. 

4. Confidentiality

Staff and Mod Team affairs should not be spoken about outside of the dedicated mod team and staff chats. That is what it is there for so staff/mod matters can be discussed privately. Please keep comments about members and other staff issues to the dedicated chats.

5. favoritism 

Now we know everyone has their favorite people to talk to in the community however please remember that you are staff and as such will need to make hard decisions against members you like/ are friends with. Keep a professional head and make sure to do the job you have been asked to. Warn the member for breaking the rules. Also please remember there are people who will try to cuddle up to staff/Mod team members to gain clout. Don't let members influence your decisions!

6. FAQ's And Other Questions

There is a whole list of #?faqs-? you can reference if you are stuck. Remember if a member is wanting to try out for a competitive team just remind them there is one and they can apply by using #tryout-interest 

7. Abuse of Power

Remember. The bots used for moderation are not a play toy. Do not warn or mute for fun as this is abuse of power. Leading on from this, threating someone who is innocent to mute or warn for fun is not acceptable in any way, your position in staff is not for fun or a way to get power hungry. If found doing so this can get you demoted or removed from the server. We do not condone toxic behavior from our staff towards other members. 

8. Bots

Bots can only be used by staff and up. Mod team do not attempt to use the bots at any time to do the job of staff. If you need help, DM or ping a member of staff and they will be able to assist or take it further if needed.
